We are Hanna Bateman and Savannah Zelinski, owners of The Shop. We have grown up in Forney and are lifelong friends turned family and now business partners!

The Beginning 

Our moms have been in business together in Forney for almost 30 years. Naturally growing up, we always knew we wanted to follow in their footsteps, we were just waiting on the right opportunity. When certain life changes occurred, we saw it as God opening the door to 112 South Bois D'Arc in downtown Forney. We took a huge leap of faith and haven't looked back. 

Our Hope

Our hope and greatest prayer is that YOU, our customer and friend would see God glorified in everything we do here. From what we choose as inventory to the customer service provided online and in store, we strive to extend the love of Jesus through every interaction. We hope you leave knowing we are grateful for you and your support of our business.

The Future

While we are still a very young business, we feel God's calling on this venture and will continue to look and listen for what He calls us to.
